‘De Santa Caterina al Nadal, un més cabal’, dita tradicional i, des d’ara, també, motivació per a gaudir d’una nova obra de literatura juvenil baix el segell editorial de Reclam. ‘Les Catalinetes’, novel·la escrita per Josep Franco i il·lustrada per Sergi Olcina, tracta la història d’esta festa, celebrada a molts pobles valencians tots els anys el dia 25 de novembre (dia de Santa Caterina), a un mes del dia de Nadal i que consisteix, bàsicament, en l’eixida dels xiquets i els xiquetes al camp per a gaudir d’una vesprada lliure de jocs. A Sueca, per exemple, localitat de l’autor de l’obra, eixa vesprada els col·legis tanquen i l’alumnat pot gaudir de la festa sense cap preocupació. A més, es parla dels dolços tradicionals que es mengen a esta data tan concreta, com els entrepans de llonganissa, taronges i, per descomptat, el tradicional Rotllet de Catalinetes, un dolç molt típic del municipi natural de l’autor.
Dimecres, 24 de novembre, tindrà lloc la presentació d’esta nova novel·la de Reclam a la Llibreria Arts de Sueca, amb entrada gratuïta i aforament limitat, a la que acudirà el propi autor i representants de l’editorial.
